Turquoise Gemstone meaning
Turquoise is know for strneght, protection from harm, physic sensitivity and a connection to the spirit world. It is one of the oldest stones know for protection of the wearer, brings peace in the home and is a symbol of wealth in many ancient cultures.

If given a turquoise by a loving friend, that stone would protect the wearer from negative energy and bring good fortune.

Turquoise carries great wisdom of basic truth within it. It is one of the oldest stones known. This is a stone that a person must learn to attune to instead of the stone attuning to the person. It is important that the owner of a Turquoise give it the proper attention.

Should there be an apostrophe in Mother's Day?

Did you know... The creator of Mother's Day, Anna Jarvis, explicitly wanted an apostrophe, and she wanted it to be before the "s":... it was to be a singular possessive, for each family to honor their mother, not a plural possessive commemorating all mothers in the world. If, following Anna Jarvis's wishes, you employ the usage "Mother's Day", it would be consistent to write "Father's Day" in the same manner.

IMPORTANT: Sterling silver is an alloy containing metals that react with chemicals found in air and produce tarnish; high moisture levels, exposure to sunlight and contaminants such as salt water increase this reaction. Take steps to protect your sterling findings by keeping them in airtight packages, use tarnish-resistant products (such as tarnish tabs or strips) that absorb harmful chemicals, and store sterling findings in a cool, dry place. DO NOT soak in an anti-tarnish solution.
